FAST Diagnostics is a medical technology company developing a device that will provide rapid and accurate measurement of kidney function.  Current measurement standards are trailing indicators, and thus, can take several days to indicate the presence of acute kidney injury. The new FAST Diagnostics test will provide a true measure of the glomerular filtration rate (kidney function) in approximately 30 minutes. Rose-Hulman Ventures provided FAST with mechanical and electrical design solutions, with Techshot providing an algorithm that is critical to the success of the system.
