Prior to joining us, Craig McNamee contributed to the growth and success of four different organizations in the past 35+ years: the United States Marine Corps, United Parcel Service, Planetech Inc., and The Boeing Company. And now he is bringing his exceptional planning, leadership, and quality engineering abilities to Techshot Inc., as our new product assurance engineer. McNamee is quick to take command of an operation or project, then guide it to new performance levels - while motivating employees and having fun. This ability is especially important given his critical role in the startup of manufacturing in Floyds Knobs by Techshot Lighting LLC. He earned a bachelor of science degree in aviation management in 1990 from Southern Illinois University (with honors from the Golden Key Society) and obtained his Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Certification in 1984 while in the Marine Corps. As a Marine he received a Navy Commendation Medal for saving the U.S. Government more than $250,000. While at UPS he helped set up the Ship Direct Program and was selected by the Federal Aviation Administration as Aviation Maintenance Technician of the Year for the state of Kentucky in 1999. He was instrumental in saving The Boeing Company production time and money by reducing a time consuming procedure down from seven days to just under one day, for the 787 Dreamliner program. Welcome Craig.
