The portable Techshot microfluidic multichannel flow cytometer separates white from red blood cells and records their numbers according to selected subclasses.
It uses a cartridge-based system that labels and counts using 4-color detection (3 in series – 1 in parallel). Cells are co-labeled with Qdot and magnetic particles to facilitate valveless sorting and counting. Counting is based on 10μl sample volume.
